ROADS &
BRIDGES
UEA has extensive experience in planning, designing, and supervising highway and bridge projects across some of the most challenging terrains in Northeast India. Our work covers national highways, state highways, rural roads, and major bridge structures, including PSC, extradosed, steel girder, and RCC bridges.
We offer end-to-end support starting from feasibility studies and topographical surveys to detailed engineering design and project execution. Our teams work with modern tools for geometric design, pavement engineering, hydrology and drainage assessment, and structural design of long-span and multi-span bridges.
With involvement in World Bank– and NDB-funded assignments, UEA ensures that each project meets global engineering standards, prioritizes durability, safety, and climate resilience. Whether it is strengthening existing corridors, replacing washed-out bridges, or developing entirely new links, we help create reliable transport networks that accelerate regional development.
POWER &
ENERGY
UEA provides consultancy services for hydropower, transmission systems, substations, and associated civil works. With experience in large and complex projects, including the 120 MW Lower Kopili Hydropower Project funded by ADB, we offer technical expertise across design, construction supervision, environmental management, and project planning.
Our team includes hydropower specialists, geotechnical engineers, structural engineers, and safety experts who ensure that all components — including dams, diversion tunnels, powerhouses, and transmission lines — meet the highest standards for safety and efficiency.
We assist clients throughout the project cycle: conducting investigations, reviewing designs, supporting tendering processes, supervising construction, and monitoring safeguard implementation. Our goal is to support clean, reliable, and sustainable energy development across the region.
URBAN
INFRASTUCTURE
UEA supports cities and towns with professional services for water supply, sewerage, drainage, solid waste management, street design, and urban mobility planning. Our approach focuses on improving the quality of life while supporting sustainable and planned urban growth.
We carry out infrastructure surveys, master planning, DPR preparation, design of utilities, and supervision of construction works. Our team works closely with municipal bodies to understand local needs, integrate resilient infrastructure, and ensure compliance with national urban development guidelines.
From designing stormwater drainage networks to planning road networks and utility corridors, our solutions are practical, cost-effective, and suited to fast-growing urban centres. We also integrate digital tools, GIS mapping, and data-driven planning to support smart city ambitions.

FOOD &
EROSION MANAGEMENT
UEA is one of the leading consulting firms in Northeast India for river engineering, flood management, and riverbank protection works. We offer specialised services in river morphology studies, hydraulic modelling, climate resilience planning, and the design of embankments, spurs, revetments, and erosion protection structures.
We are engaged in major basin-level programs like the World Bank–funded AIRBMP and the ADB-funded Climate Resilient Brahmaputra Flood & Erosion Management Project. Our experts support government agencies in planning structural interventions, implementing non-structural measures, and carrying out community-based disaster preparedness activities.
Using advanced surveying tools, satellite data, hydro-morphological models, and field-based investigations, we help design sustainable interventions that can withstand high flows, meander shifts, and long-term flood pressures.
ENVIROMENT &
SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
